不斷延長的青春期

八月中一個禮拜六晚上，我們公司舉辦「台北市流行音樂節」演唱會。禮拜五中午起，就有歌迷頂著艷陽在市政府前排隊，夜裡席地而坐，玩撲克牌聊天。星期六中午，隊伍從市府排到松壽路。下午三點突然下起雷雨，長長的隊伍不慌不忙地站起來，撐著傘，在大雨中繼續等待……同時間，國際巨星艾薇兒來台參加演唱會。我認識一名十三歲的女孩，課餘之際管理一個兩百多人的艾薇兒家族網站。她們相約星期五早上六點去京華城排隊，為了參加禮拜六下午的簽名會……

公益也可以賺錢
今年六月，「趨勢科技」創辦人張明正和我開了一家公司，叫「若水國際」。若水投資「社會企業」。所謂「社會企業」，是指用公司的型態、商業的方法、在市場的環境，做公益的事情。做得好，不但能幫助弱勢族群，還可以賺錢。例如英國名廚奧利佛開了一系列高檔餐廳(www.fifteen.net)，專門雇用失學的貧困青少年，教他們一技之長，讓他們自己將來能創業。這家社會企業不僅提供美食，還解決了青少年幫派問題，而餐廳賺的錢也可以確保這項公益能永續經營。
